To whom it may concern: These Books were available in the school Library. I am a financially limited student and can’t afford to buy books unless at a hefty discount so it is invaluable that this resources available. My only complaint is that the book for CGS 1000 wasn’t available in the Library or ARC Building. It is a very expensive book (in my opinion overpriced) for a basic class required for my degree and I hope it’s made available for students to come. I cannot underscore enough the need that exists for students like myself that each department supply the student body. This resource by contributing at least one copy of each textbook to the student Library!”

If you are a member of the community and wish to check out books, bring in your public library card [various Florida counties apply] and we can sign you up as a community member.


We are in the process of getting ‘community print cards’. They will be available soon.

Comments: “ Students need a color copier with duplex capabilities ( 2 sided) printing in the Library”

Currently there is a color copier available in the ARC.

DVD Request: “Iron Man”  “ Inglorious Bastards”

Iron Man is available in the Bradenton and is currently checked out, but not missing.


Inglorious Bastards is currently missing and we will request a replacement.


We are nearing the end of our budget year. If necessary we will hold these suggestions until the next budget.

Comment: “The Library should stay open on weekends. It’s hard for many students to get here due to classes, work, family and other responsibilities. We often depend on the weekend for time to do homework (which often includes research). Also, I am a film student and I often need to access the editing rooms upstairs during the weekend, but can’t because the Library is CLOSED!”
